Starting experiment

On Saturday I am going to make a big effort to get dad to take me down to Bunnings and we will buy some plants. I will be testing if plants will be able to cope with the extreme conditions that have been predicted. The places that I will doing this experiment are:
At dads work in the cool room,
At dads work in the warm room,
The window cill in the kitchen,
Outside undercover,
Outside not under cover,
In each room there will be 2 plants, 1 will be watered and the other will not be.
I hope this works!!
Each week I will measure the height, weight and width.
I will let you know each weeks results.
If anything goes wrong I will let you know.

Answering Questions

this is just a draft and a starting point for my questions:

What is Climate change?
Climate Chagne is a worldwide problem that has to be fixed. It is a result most likely caused from us humans. It is due to a increasr in greenhouse gasses in the earths atmosphere. It is believed that it is just a pharse the the earth is going through, but there is a lot more evidence that it is change and unless we do something the results could be devastating.

How Will it effect Victoria?
The things thIt is going to affect Victoria in a massive way. A test has shown that the average temperatures will rise by about 5 degrees by 2070; this would be a huge raise and would affect a lot of people. Farms in the Victorias North West will be hardest hit with an on going drought. Melbourne is expected to be hit with freak storms and wild whether more often. A lot of people have said that Victoria is not ready for the massive changes ahead. I think that there will be a lot more bushfires and longer and harsher droughts. It is a fact the Victoria is one of the worst greenhouse polluters in the world per person, for climate change to get better we have to stop this. at are contributing to climate change are poor energy conservation, cars and pumping greenhouse gasses into the air. These are some of the ways that we are wrecking the planet.

I really like the idea of testing plants in different conditions so i have deceided that that will be experement.

these were a few of many. I just happened to be reading today herald sun when there was a massive article on how climate change will effect Victoria. I think a really good thing about chosing this topic is the media interest, i think it will help me a lot.

I am still trying to find a experement which i can do at home. I have been thinking of this for a while no and still nothing so i would really like a comment, or idea for a experement.

But apart from that i am doing well and am about to start answering some qustions.

Hay Mr Ryan sorry on taking so long to update my blog i could not find my username but today i found it in the back of my dairy. I hope you got my e-mail as i ask you if i could do Clmate Changs for my WASP. I have made up a set of qustions:
1. What is Climate change
2. How Will it effect Victoria
- How will it effect industrie
- How will it effect us
3. What can we do to Help

I am not sure if i need more qustions but if i do i can make same more up.

The only thing that i am worried about chosing climate change is what type of Experement i can do. Any suggesting or ideas from you are others would be really helpful as i have no idea.
